General Conditions of Sale Subscription

Book Subscription Terms and Conditions

This section governs the Lunarya subscription relating exclusively to hardcover books with spray edges and exclusive overlays.

The subscription forms an integral part of the General Conditions of Sale.

By completing the subscription, the customer fully accepts these terms.

🔁 1. PURPOSE OF THE SUBSCRIPTION

The Lunarya subscription includes:

  • Hardcover books from the library
  • Spray edges made by Nola Spray Edges
  • Exclusive overlays
  • Any signature or dedication from the author (digital or real, where available)

No further customizations are foreseen.

The following are included exclusively:

  • First volumes
  • Stand-alone volumes

Second and subsequent volumes are not included in the subscription but can be purchased separately. Subscribers will have first refusal.

Editions with alternative cover art or complete reprints are excluded from the subscription unless otherwise officially communicated.

📅 2. FREQUENCY AND OUTPUTS

4 releases are planned per year.

Subscription opening windows may vary based on Lunarya's editorial schedule and will be communicated via the website, newsletter, or official social media.

💳 3. RENEWAL AND CHARGING

Subscriptions automatically renew on the 30th of the month in which pre-orders open:

  • January
  • March
  • June
  • September

The recurring charge occurs on the 30th of the month in which pre-orders open.

The customer will receive a reminder email by the 20th of the month.

In case of payment failure:

  • The customer has 3 days to regularize
  • In the absence of regularization, the subscription will be automatically cancelled.

❌ 4. SKIPS AND CANCELLATIONS

The customer can:

  • Skip a box
  • Cancel your subscription for future renewals

The communication must be received exclusively by email to alice@lunarya.co no later than the 25th of the month in which pre-orders are open (January, March, June, September, subject to changes).

Requests received by the 25th will apply to the current month's box (if renewing).

Requests received from the 26th onwards:

  • They do not apply to the current month's box
  • They apply to the next renewal

The month of registration cannot be skipped or refunded.
 This limitation applies regardless of the date of communication.

If the subscription is activated between the 1st and 29th of the month in which pre-orders open, that month's box is considered confirmed and cannot be cancelled or skipped.

🚫 ANNUAL JUMP LIMIT

A maximum of 2 jumps are allowed per calendar year.

A third skip will result in automatic cancellation of the subscription.

🔄 5. EFFECTS OF JUMPS ON RENEWALS

Missed boxes are moved to the next delivery point.

As a result, automatic renewal and the related payment also shift forward in proportion to the number of missed boxes.

🏭 6. PRODUCTION AND SHIPPING

Subscription boxes are made to order.

Shipments generally take place within 3 months of pre-orders closing (30th of the opening month).

The timings are indicative and may vary for:

  • Typographical delays
  • Logistical delays
  • Customs controls
  • Force majeure

Any delays do not constitute grounds for reimbursement.

🌍 7. SHIPPING AND COSTS

Shipping costs are indicated at the time of purchase.

For non-EU shipments:

  • Duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer

  • Customs charges are non-refundable

  • In case of recognized defect, Lunarya may opt for refund instead of replacement

🔄 8. DEFECTS AND REFUNDS

For any defects, the Lunarya Books Refund & Returns Policy applies exclusively:

There is no right of withdrawal for cycles already confirmed after the 25th of the month in which pre-orders open, except as provided by current legislation for EU customers with reference only to non-personalized products, within the limits established by the Libri Refund & Returns Policy.

🛡 PREVENTIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION

The Preventive Dispute Resolution clause provided for in the General Conditions of Sale applies.

🔐 CHANGES

Lunarya reserves the right to modify these terms.

Any changes will not have a retroactive effect on cycles already paid for and will always be communicated.
